Drought Master amd the Hose Pipe Ban

Expecting a wide spread hosepipe ban in the South East of England, Online Turf developed a non rye seed mixture that can survive the harshest drought conditions. Incuded with Drought Master Turf are our hydro-store crystals that help keep the water in the ground near the roots until it is needed by the turf. You simply work these crystals into the soil underneath your turf and they will help maintain it over the next five years! For further information on these fantastic crystals click here.

Drought Master turf also includes a free Watering Can with every order. This means you can still water your lawn - although this will take longer than a hosepipe, it is possible to effectivly water your garden despite the current situation and the Hydro-store crystals will help keep this moisture in the ground.

Drought Master contains drought resistant grass species to cope with the drier climate in some parts of the UK. A non rye grass turf with a beautiful appearance.

Drought Master is grown from the following seed mixture:

45% Slender Creeping Red Fescue (Oriflamme)
45% Chewings Fescue (Center)
10% Smooth Stalked Meadow Grass (Limousine)

Slender Creeping Red Fescue and Chewings Fescue are able to cope with dry drought conditions. The lawn will still need water during the first week after laying to get root establishment but will then be able to cope with dry conditions.
