Our multi-purpose peat-free compost is ideal for plants in all stages of life, from starting young seedlings and cuttings, through to use with mature shrubs and flowers. This carefully blended mix contains Gro Boost - a unique and specially formulated blend of organic materials from renewable sources. It provides all 14 essential nutrients your plants need to grow and thrive, making this product a must-have for a beautiful garden. 

Choosing a peat-free mix is also a more environmentally friendly alternative than peat-containing mixes, without compromising on performance. Along with our Enriched Topsoil, it forms part of our peat-free range and delivers up to 70% more growth than standard mixes.

Coverage:

1 large pack covers a 1m x 2m area to a depth of 1 inch. 

Gardening Advice:

• Always use clean pots and trays with drainage holes for sowing and planting. 
• Water thoroughly and allow to drain after planting, then water regularly with a fine rose to keep compost moist. 
• Potting, repotting, planting out and striking cuttings should be done during the growing period for the plant. 
• Always water plants well the day before moving them form one pot to another, planting out or taking cuttings.
• Avoid moving plants form seed trays or indoor pots direct to the garden; allow to harden off in an unheated greenhouse, conservatory, or cold frame for a week to ten days. 
• Feed regularly with liquid feed from around 6 weeks after potting to maintain healthy growth. 
• Not recommended for sowing small seeds. 

Safety Tips:

• Store in a cool, dry place.
• Open carefully and avoid breathing dust. 
• Always wear gloves and wash your hands after use.
• Work in well-ventilated area.
• Don’t ingest. 

We would not recommend this product for use with acid-loving plants, such as rhododendrons, azaleas and so on. 

For optimal results, use your compost within 12 months.
