What Happens After You Order?
Once we receive your order and delivery date information, we make sure to deliver your turf in the best condition possible and without delays.
This process starts with us cutting your turf fresh to order at one of our fields the day before your delivery. The turf is then palletised and wrapped in shrink wrap for protection to prevent any damage at the transport stage.
For delivery, we use trusted haulage partners we’ve worked with for many years. Turf is a fresh product, so timing matters. Working closely together helps us keep deliveries reliable and get your turf to you in good condition.
On delivery day, the pallet will be lowered to the ground at the rear of the vehicle. The driver will then use a pump trolley to move it to the kerbside at the front of your property. In some cases, the pallet may be placed on a flat, solid driveway. However, final placement is always at the driver’s discretion, so this cannot be guaranteed. Please note that our drivers cannot move pallets across gravel, lawns, sloped or uneven ground, soft verges, or any other unstable surfaces, so it’s important to ensure there is a clear, hard-standing area available for delivery. How many turf rolls do I need?
The number of turf rolls you’ll need depends on the size of the area you’re covering. One turf roll covers one square metre, so if your garden is 20 square metres, you’ll need 20 rolls to cover it.
For the easiest way to work this out, you can use our turf calculator. It calculates how much turf you should order based on your garden’s measurements.
Remember: we always recommend ordering around 10% extra to account for wastage, cutting around obstacles such as patios or trees, and shaping the edges.
Does your turf come with a guarantee?
