How We Deliver Our Turf

Nationwide Turf Delivery

Online Turf delivers fresh turf nationwide using a trusted UK haulage network. We dispatch hundreds of orders every week through delivery depots located across the country, allowing us to deliver turf efficiently while maintaining quality.

All turf is cut to order and dispatched directly from our farm, ensuring it arrives fresh and ready to lay.

Choosing Your Turf Delivery Date and Date

Delivery Days

When placing your order, you can choose a delivery date that suits your schedule. All available options and any associated costs are clearly displayed at checkout.

Next working day delivery - Available on orders placed before 2pm. Turf is harvested and dispatched the same day for next-day arrival.
Future delivery dates - Choose a date that works for you. Turf is cut and dispatched the day before delivery to preserve freshness.
Saturday delivery - Available for an additional £30.

On particularly busy days, a small surcharge may apply. This helps us manage demand and ensures your turf is delivered reliably and in excellent condition. Quieter delivery dates are available at a lower cost.

Turf Delivery Times

Deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm.

If you need a narrower window, you can select:

Pre-1pm delivery slot
Afternoon delivery slot

Both options are available for an additional £25 and can be selected at checkout.

How Your Turf Is Delivered

All turf is delivered on pallets using a tail-lift lorry and a manual pallet pump trolley. On arrival:

The pallet is lowered to the ground at the rear of the vehicle
The driver uses a pump trolley to move the pallet to the kerbside at the front of the property
In some cases, the pallet may be placed on a driveway if it is flat, solid and safe to access

Final placement is always at the driver’s discretion, our drivers are experienced and will help where possible.

Access Requirements

To ensure a safe and successful delivery, please note the following:

We do not deliver using a crane or hiab
Pallets cannot be lifted over walls, fences or hedges
The delivery surface must be flat, solid and hard-standing

We cannot deliver onto:

Gravel driveways
Grass or soil
Sloped or uneven ground
Soft verges or paths

Our deliveries are typically made using an 18-tonne wagon. For smaller orders or restricted access, we can request a 7.5-tonne vehicle, although this cannot be guaranteed. If access may be an issue, we strongly recommend contacting us before ordering.
