"Great service. Would use again. I chose standard delivery but when I called they were able to estimate the delivery slot to within one hour. Carefully delivered on a pallet to the drive, driver even checked if he was ok to place the pallet near the garage door, in case we needed to use the door. Ground was prepped that day, turf was laid after 24h. Luckily after a dry Spring we had heavy rain for a week so it has already started to establish."

"Not the cheapest but good quality and great phone advice and service. The topping was that (for a price) they delivered on a Saturday. Turf was easy to lay (especially with the "reinforcing backing" to aid handling of the turf). Other firms meant I'd have to rake in some fertilizer but not with Onlineturf: they fertilize the turf a day or so before harvesting. After sales service? Well, send an email to remind me to mow the lawn is a great idea. The lawn has taken very well and looks good."

He placed the turfs out of the sun on shady part of drive and place the soil near the entrance making it easy to transfer. The turf itself seems excellent, it's only been down a week but is well so far and looks lush and green. My only advice would be to over-order by a few square meters - we had to place a smaller order to finish off - should have gone for the x 60 and had some spare rather than the being short."

The turf and top soil was delivered at 8:55am and the driver was fantastic, we have quite a tight street but he managed to get the lorry in the best possible place and asked me where I would like the turf and top soil and delivered exactly where I want. The turf is just as good, really strong and easy to roll. One of the rolls was slightly ripped but didn’t matter much as I ordered the recommended 10% above. Day 5 and the turf is doing really well, starting to root, I couldn’t be any happier"

I checked a few web sites , including the big stores , but I was inclined to use On line Turf as their prices were competitive and they guaranteed next day delivery. "I had a guy on £180 day rate for 2 days to clear and level 9m x 3m raised beds, returning them to lawn. By 12.30 on the first day it was clear that he would have cleared and prept the area ready for turfing by the end of the first day. This left me with, what I thought was an impossible job of getting 20sq m of turf delivered to Norfolk in less than 24hrs. Searching online for turf, Wicks had a 10 day lead time and would have charged £180. After trying a few other companies which also had long lead times, I saw the Online Turf site, which claimed to deliver next day if I ordered within an hour and a half. I placed my order and paid an extra £25 to have the delivery between 8.00am and 1.00pm. The price came to £154.43 which included the extra delivery charge for the early delivery slot. Next day the delivery arrived at 9.00am and the turf was laid by 1.00pm. Great quality turf, brilliant service at a good price. Many thanks"
