High Quality Enriched Topsoil

A quality blended topsoil containing sterilised loam and added organic matter making it ideal for a variety of uses around the garden, on lawns, flower beds, for planting and general border use.

The peat-free formula is a more environmentally friendly alternative to peat-based products, without compromising on quality. Like our Multi-Purpose Compost, it forms part of our peat-free range and delivers up to 70% more growth than standard mixes.

Gardening Advice:

For lawn use:

• To fill in hollows in uneven ground on existing lawns – re-seed the levelled area or lift turf and replace afterwards. 
• Mix with sand for top-dressing in autumn and where necessary, overseed. 
• Apply over bare patches in lawn and re-seed to improve the visual aspect of the lawn. 
• To improve soil before laying turf.

For general use:

• Add topsoil when creating new flower beds – apply a layer over the area which will help encourage your new plants to grow. Add a handful of bonemeal or general fertiliser per square metre over the area.
• To replace old topsoil when replanting. 
• Add to stony soils to increase and improve topsoil layer. 
• When planting trees and shrubs in poor soil, dig a deep hole and backfill with new topsoil and fertiliser to encourage healthy growth of plants. 
• Useful to add to compost. 

Safety tips:

• Store the product in a cool, dry place to maintain its quality and effectiveness. 
• Open carefully and avoid breathing in dust. 
• Always wear gloves and wash your hands after use.
• Re-seal the pack after use. 
• Work in a well-ventilated area.
• Don’t ingest.
